We demoed the bathroom down to the studs, including the old tub, tile, cabinet and flooring, then updated the plumbing, lighting and switches. The popcorn ceiling came down, and the walls were repaired, textured and painted. The new tub sits inside waterproofed shower walls with white subway tile and a patterned-tile niche, and a black and white patterned tile floor ties the room together with a new dark vanity, oval mirror and matching fixtures. We also replaced the damaged flooring in the laundry room with new tile.
